Ranging in size from 2.5 to 5.5 rooms, the apartments will feature practical floorplans and modern amenities. A traffic-free open space in the centre of the complex will enhance its appeal and give it a distinctive identity. The villa “Zur Eintracht”, built in 1811/12 and listed by the canton as a historic monument, is located on the same plot. It will blend harmoniously into the new ensemble of buildings, of which it forms part.
 

To assist the efforts being made to promote affordable housing, Steiner will seek to optimise the development costs. As a result, this residential project will have a functional design. Among other things, costs will be saved by installing standardised windows in all buildings, minimising apartment floorspace and standardising the wet cells in all apartments. The units will be accessed via freestanding stairways and balconies constructed in part with precast concrete elements. The development will include a basement car park with 51 parking spaces.
