The planning application for the “Haslirainpark” residential development in Buchrain was submitted on 22 March 2018. This project, which was developed by Steiner AG, comprises six new-build apartment blocks containing a total of 82 rental and owner-occupied properties. Construction is expected to start in summer 2019.
Located in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of the village of Buchrain (Canton Lucerne), the attractive “Haslirainpark” residential development, a living and recreational area for families, couples and single people, will be ready by mid-2021. The project’s 45 rental and 37 owner-occupied properties are characterised by modern, slightly unconventional and relatively compact floor layouts with open-plan kitchens. The light and airy 2.5- to 5.5-room apartments have generous floor areas of between 78 m2 and 144 m2. Attractive landscaping, carefully planned access routes and a communal car park containing 124 spaces for cars and 19 for motor bikes enhance the overall development.
Attractive rental and owner-occupied properties
The buildings that make up the “Haslirainpark” project are designed in the form of discrete blocks, meaning that the outer apartments are grouped around the inner core development. Three of the apartment blocks containing a total of 45 rental units will be built for Suva, the client, while the three remaining buildings containing a total of 37 units will be developed as a condominium and marketed by Steiner AG. The project which, with its upmarket architecture, blends harmoniously into the existing slightly sloping topography, will appeal in particular to tenants and buyers who are looking to live close to town but prefer a rural neighbourhood.
Nature at the front door
Covering an area of 17,588 m2, the “Haslirainpark” site is located on the edge of the Haslirain district in Buchrain (Canton Lucerne) in a traffic-calmed, child-friendly zone, just one kilometre or so from the attractive village centre. The plot borders onto woodland and a non-building zone, so future residents will be able to enjoy uninterrupted views. The nearby Reuss canal and the river Reuss itself are great places for relaxing strolls. From the Haslirainpark residential development, you can reach the motorway to Lucerne and Zurich in just a few minutes. The travel time to the centre of Lucerne, for example, is around ten minutes. The site also has good public transport connections (a bus route connecting to the S-Bahn rail network). In this family-friendly neighbourhood, you can walk to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools as well as various shopping facilities in a few minutes.
