Building permit for Limmattalstrasse 281 residential project in Zurich

The Limmattalstrasse 281 project in Zurich Höngg, developed by Steiner for the Seraina Investment Foundation, has reached an important milestone with the receipt of the legally binding building permit. The building comprises a total of 15 contemporary condominiums and an underground car park. The sale of the condominiums will begin in February; interested buyers will then have the opportunity to register for the sales process on a landing page.

The project is characterised by its preferred location on a slightly south-facing slope with distant views over the Limmat Valley. The property is optimally connected to public transport and the project will be Minergie-certified. Photovoltaic systems will be installed on the flat roofs, while heat will be generated using a heat pump and geothermal probes. Another plus point of this sustainable project is the preservation of a mighty copper beech in the garden. The volume of the building responds to this valuable tree, which can thus be preserved.

The new building blends in well with the heterogeneous urban environment, develops in a staggered manner around an access core and thus responds skilfully to the topography and the existing trees. A total of 15 flats are being built on three full storeys and an attic storey, as well as an underground car park in the basement.

Steiner AG has been commissioned to market the flats. You can find more information on the project at www.limmattalstrasse281.ch. The flats in the highly popular Höngg district of Zurich are scheduled to be occupied by the end of 2026.
