Planning permission granted for "NIDO" residential development in Ostermundigen

Planning permission for the "NIDO" residential development in Ostermundigen has now been granted, representing another important milestone for this project. This timber construction contains a total of 20 light and airy apartments for private ownership, ideal for couples and single-person households. Marketing of the attractive residential units – which are expected to be ready for occupation in autumn 2024 – is now under way. 
 
The planning permission granted by Ostermundigen municipal council for the "NIDO" project at Rütiweg, developed by Steiner AG, has now become legally effective. Due to the current delivery times for prefabricated timber elements, construction work is set to begin in the second quarter of 2023. The building will blend harmoniously into the surrounding neighbourhood and will be reached via access balconies. The attractive studios, 2.5- and 3.5-room apartments boast optimum views as well as spacious balconies and terraces. Ceiling heights of 2.70 m will ensure plenty of natural light and a pleasant ambience. 
 
Timber load-bearing structure
