Glasi Quarter, Bülach: A new owner for Building Angelo

Steiner AG has found an investor for Building A (Angelo) in the Glasi Quarter of Bülach: at the end of March, this office/commercial building was sold to the real estate fund Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate SICAV in Geneva.
 
The earthworks for the Angelo building started in November 2021. Over the next two years, a distinctive new building with 6,576 m² commercial and office space will be constructed at the north-west end of the Glasi Quarter. The future tenants will benefit from the open and modular structure of the building, good public transport connections and an excellent network for logistics services. Last year, Steiner AG secured the Wisli Foundation, a not-for-profit welfare organisation, as the first anchor tenant for this building. Another future tenant is digital health center (dhc), a centre for digital innovation for the healthcare sector. Currently, more than 80 percent of the building has been let. The Wisli Foundation will be opening a cafeteria and a bakery on the ground floor of the building to serve both future tenants of the building and residents of the entire district.
 
A new inclusive district 
The new Glasi Quarter will come to life from the summer. When the development is completed, this vibrant new quarter will offer around 560 apartments and more than 20,000 m² commercial space, making it an ideal living and working environment for up to 1,500 people. There are still a few office and commercial premises available in the Buildings A, R and in Building T, which is designed as a medical centre. Further large and small retail, light-industrial and office premises are available for rent in the district.
