Steiner sells the Neumattweg Ost project to Corpora Immobilien AG

Real estate developer Steiner AG is selling the Neumattweg Ost residential construction project in Suhr, which will eventually comprise 13 buildings with 146 apartments in total, to Aarau-based  Corpora Immobilien AG.
 
A new district offering a high quality of life and a full range of sustainability credentials is being planned for the site of approx. 1.6 hectares. It is based on an impressive master plan with an appropriately developed urban planning outline and high-quality exterior and interior design aspects. Future residents will enjoy the attractive open spaces and well-equipped apartments that blend modernity and comfort. The unique complex also features a community centre that residents can use for activities and events. 
 
A housing development for all generations
The Neumattweg Ost housing development is aimed at all age groups and is suitable for families, single people, couples and senior citizens. With their accessible layout, the residential units will make comfortable, secure and flexible homes for all generations. Moreover, the project also foresees the use of various (electric) vehicle-sharing schemes to promote alternative forms of mobility as well as an attractive cycling infrastructure.
 
Focus on real estate development
As part of a portfolio adjustment, Steiner AG has chosen to sell this development at the concept design stage, i.e. before the implementation phase has begun. Project manager Daniel F. Hauri is delighted about this successful transaction, which was completed at the end of December 2021. He says: "By selling this major project to Corpora Immobilien AG in Aarau, we have found an investor with development expertise and a presence in the local community who will be well placed to ensure the successful realisation and completion of this attractive housing development."
