Marketing of the 38 condominium apartments in the new Faubourg Ouest complex at Corminboeuf (Canton Fribourg) has started. The homes are designed for single people and families looking for an exceptional quality of life in a quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Fribourg.

The future apartments in the Faubourg Ouest complex will feature a high fit-out standard and incorporate low-carbon materials. The top floors of the buildings will be clad in wood and the balconies will have wooden screens suitable for climbing plants. The latter will enhance privacy and provide shade, thus making for pleasant outdoor spaces. The balconies will additionally feature individual planters and the roofs of the buildings will also be planted. The majority of the apartments will have corner locations. Thus they will face in two directions, maximising sunlight and views. This development is aimed at demanding clients who want to enjoy the benefits of the countryside and yet be close to town.

A harmonious blend of buildings and nature

As well as offering future inhabitants optimum comfort, the project includes outdoor areas designed to enhance their quality of life. Naturally, the complex is designed to foster the use of renewable energy. It will be connected to the district heating network and there will be solar panels covering 20% of power requirements. Moreover, Steiner intends to use at least 30% recycled concrete.
