Construction work begins on Les Rives de Bramois in Sion
The new Les Rives de Bramois district on the outskirts of Sion will start to take shape in April this year. The first cranes are being assembled on the construction site, which is being managed by Steiner AG. It will take less than a year to construct the building’s shell. The new apartments represent an ideal opportunity for those who wish to live in pleasant, green surroundings.
There are still some apartments available in this new complex of 11 buildings. Around a hundred apartments intended for private ownership have been placed on the market in total, many of which have already been sold. With properties ranging in size from studios to 5.5-room apartments, this residential complex is designed for a variety of potential residents, from single people to families. It is ideally situated close to all amenities (a school, shops, a post office, cafes and restaurants, and EPFL Valais Wallis). A further advantage of Les Rives de Bramois is its energy concept.
Over 500 solar panels
In this complex, Steiner AG is constructing buildings fitted with over 500 photovoltaic panels and with high-end heat pumps developed in Switzerland. An on-site consumption network will be established in collaboration with an external supplier in order to ensure a local, renewable electricity supply. The buildings will meet the requirements of the Minergie label, thereby offering an optimum level of comfort. Yet Les Rives de Bramois will offer much more besides – namely, a brand-new approach to community living.
The project developed by Steiner AG includes landscaping of the extensive green spaces. Just 20% of the plot’s surface area of 18 000 m² is being built on. The rest will be given over to green spaces, footpaths and cycle paths as well as communal leisure areas for residents to enjoy. In addition, permaculture plots will allow all residents the possibility of growing and consuming their own fruit and vegetables.
Following a development phase lasting several years, construction of Les Rives de Bramois is set to take around a year and a half. The new residents will be able to move into this prime location on the outskirts of Sion as of summer 2022.
