Customer information: Steiner AG adapts business model

In recent years, Steiner AG has built up a large development project portfolio across Switzerland that has a market value on completion of over CHF 4 billion and forms the basis for consistently sound results. 
 
We want to use this asset to shape our future. The Steiner Group's Board of Directors has decided to focus on the development of the company's own projects and transform Steiner AG into a leading developer with supporting construction expertise. 
 
This will involve expanding our real estate development activities and range of offerings – a process already set in train through our initiation of innovative investment vehicles and participation models. In particular, we want to successively integrate our long-standing expertise, our technical competencies and our in-depth construction know-how into real estate development with the aim of launching digital building products. The healthy TC/GC order books will allow this transformation process to go ahead over the next few years.
 
As a first step, we are gearing business development in the German-speaking region systematically and exclusively to the acquisition of development projects. In this part of Switzerland, some of the works and services needed to implement new projects will be procured from the market.
 
In French-speaking Switzerland, we are expressly committed to maintaining our successful, time-tested business model and to further strengthening our market leadership in all fields.
