Steiner starts marketing of attractive apartments in Montreux (Canton Vaud)

Following the successful sale of the commercial units at the Rives de la Baye complex in Montreux, Steiner AG is today starting to market the apartments. The 14 apartments are situated in an exceptional setting that is being developed by Steiner in Montreux, the capital of the Swiss Riviera. 
 
At the Rives de la Baye development, Steiner is injecting new life into one of Montreux’s historic locations. The project developed by Steiner comprises the refurbishment/conversion of a former carpentry works and the construction of new buildings, creating a unique living space with a mixture of retail establishments, offices and homes.
 
Authentic and modern
The apartments being placed on the market today have between 2.5 and 4.5 rooms, sometimes over two or three floors. They offer a blend of modern comfort and authenticity, with carefully chosen materials, generous dimensions and quality finishes that accentuate the site's heritage. The project is located on the site of a former carpentry works and features a chimney stack from this period, which will be showcased to pay homage to Montreux’s industrial past. The apartments will have all the benefits of modern residences, as well as the charm created by the restoration of historic elements, including the original wooden beams. The project reflects the history of the site and will highlight its woodworking heritage, particularly through the use of unique exterior woodwork, balustrades with openwork motifs and decorative elements on the façades.
 
The new buildings in the Rives de la Baye development will be state-of-the-art and the historic building will be refurbished to improve its insulation, ensuring excellent energy efficiency. The façades of the new buildings will be an elegant blend of wood and concrete.

Montreux’s microclimate makes it one of Switzerland's most pleasant towns and it offers a wide variety of cultural events and leisure activities. The Rives de la Baye development is in a wonderful location in the centre of Montreux, 100 metres from the Grand-Rue and 200 metres from Lake Geneva. Moreover, it has all the infrastructure and amenities needed for a high level of convenience. There is a wide range of restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and shops in the vicinity.
