Steiner AG gets the go-ahead to construct the modern Landskronhof residential complex in Basel

Steiner AG today received official notice to proceed with the attractive Landskronhof housing development in the heart of Basel. The project comprises the construction of a five-storey block housing 15 prestigious 2.5- to 5.5-room apartments for private ownership. Future residents will enjoy all the benefits of a contemporary fit-out, spacious floorplans and inviting outdoor spaces. The apartments are scheduled for occupation in spring 2022. 
 
These “dream flats”, to be created over the next two years, will take shape around a sheltered inner courtyard at a prime location amid the vibrant St. Johann quarter. The modern new-build scheme is being implemented by Steiner AG, one of Switzerland's leading real estate companies. With planning permission already granted for the residential complex on the site, Steiner AG's project development experts collaborated with architectural practice HHF Architekten GmbH – on board since inception – and a specialist designer team to further refine and optimise the project. The finished scheme is a textbook example of inner-city densification by virtue of its location in an inner courtyard previously occupied by garages and parking spaces.
