Steiner AG is the first total/general contractor in Switzerland to hold the three certificates of Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001) as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSAS 18001).

VSGU-label (Association of Swiss General Contractors - label)

Steiner AG is one of the founding members of the Association of Swiss General Contractors (VSGU) and is certified with the VSGU-label by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) according to the criteria required.

Environmental compatibility - an award criterion

Apart from advising, consulting and sensitising our owner-clients and offering systematic building site audits, continuous employee training is assigned high priority at Steiner's. The environmental friendly building materials adopted by our subcontractors are an explicit award criterion for the Steiner Group's tenders.

Energy and sustainability standards

Basically, sustainability is highly valued at Steiner AG. For this reason, the company advises clients to have their buildings certified. Upon client request, Steiner AG primarily builds according to the energy and sustainability standards, e.g., MINERGIE-Label (ECO, P, A), Green Property (CS REF International), LEED Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Gold, Platinum), DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council), HQE (High Quality Environmental Standard) and many more. Steiner AG can even ensure multiple certifications.
